- Cher has filed to place her son, Elijah Blue Allman, under a conservatorship again.

- Allman was arrested in New Hampshire on two separate occasions earlier this year.

- Cher claims that Allman is "gravely disabled" and that "his drug dependency is at its worst."

Cher has filed for a conservatorship of her son Elijah Blue Allman after his arrests in New Hampshire.

The "Believe" singer claimed that her son, 49, is "gravely disabled" and that "his drug dependency is at its worst" in a petition requesting the appointment of a temporary conservator filed in Los Angeles court on Thursday and reviewed by **. She requested that fiduciary Jason Rubin be appointed conservator of Allman's estate.

The document claims that Allman has "no concept of money," alleging that he spends any he gets "immediately" and "almost exclusively" on "drugs, expensive hotels, and limousine transportation." It also claims that he owes $200,000 in taxes, plus "excessive spousal support" to his ex-wife, Marieangela King.

The petition adds that Allman is "currently in custody in the State of New Hampshire in a locked psychiatric hospital, in an attempt to restore him to competency to face criminal charges across two New Hampshire counties for: felony burglary criminal mischief, simple assault, criminal trespass, and breach of bail."

Representatives for Cher and Allman did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

EW reported that Allman was arrested in February in Concord, N.H., on two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct. He was arrested again in March in Windham, N.H., on charges of burglary, two counts of criminal mischief, and breach of bail, PEOPLE reported.

Cher previously filed to place Allman under a conservatorship in 2023, citing "severe mental health and substance abuse issues" that made him "substantially unable to manage his financial resources." She dropped the filing in September 2024.

However, in her newest filing Cher claims that after Allman avoided the previous conservatorship by promising to "change his lifestyle," his resolutions to take responsibility for his actions "turned out to be nothing more than words," as his situation has "become dire on multiple fronts."

The filing lists several examples of Allman's alleged destructive behavior. It claims that the musician has racked up "thousands of dollars of damages from cigarette burns" in 14 AirBnbs, including one rental that had more than $50,000 in damages. It also alleges that Allman has been "thrown out" of 18 hotels because he "made guests feel uncomfortable, screaming obscenities and acting erratically."

Cher's filing also claims that Allman "has been exhibiting hypersexual behavior" and was "found in the middle of traffic passed out in his car."

Allman is Cher's only child with the late Allman Brothers Band musician Gregg Allman, her husband from 1975 until 1979. Cher is also mother to Chaz Bono, whom she welcomed with her other ex-husband, Sonny Bono, in 1969.

Like his parents, Allman is a musician, having performed as the vocalist and guitarist for the rock group Deadsy. He has also worked alongside notable acts like Thirty Seconds to Mars, Sugar Ray, Korn, and Orgy.
